CAPES strata (2025-2028 rules)
Stratum = the journal's impact-factor percentile within the field
(A1 = top 12.5%; C = no impact indicator). It affects ma_all, ma_perm, ma_colab,
ma_visit (which then count only articles in the ticked strata). ma_pq,
ma_spq, avg_if and the counts by output type keep their aggregate values.

Impact indicator used for the A1–A8/C percentiles
The chosen source recalculates the percentiles of every stratum in the app (filter, metrics, labels and the detailed impact report). Under CiteScore, journals without a CiteScore fall into C; the hybrid uses OpenAlex wherever CiteScore is missing.
